leadership
We believe in a healthy plurality of leadership with Christ being the Head of the church. We seek to share responsibility while serving, shepherding, and teaching the people of God. We also seek to demonstrate obedience to God's Word in making disciples. Our elders are affirmed according to the biblical qualifications (1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-16) and by the approval of the people according to Scripture. We take leadership seriously because we believe the health of the church follows the health of the leaders. It is clear God appoints the overseers for the purpose of equipping the saints for ministry (Ephesians 4:11-16).
While we desire a plurality of elders/pastors, sometimes the Lord ordains we walk through seasons when that has to be pursued and not experienced. We are thankful for elders of our sending church and a local sister church who are available to our people and our current elder as strategic advisors. We're also thankful for godly men within TCC who are currently helping Jarrod lead in an interim role. Pray for us as we seek Biblically qualified men to be identified and affirmed as the next elders of TCC.
